Allégresse

Allégresse
nom féminin
Sens: Joie très vive exprimée ouvertement.
Synonyme: enthousiasme
Anglais: elation

Not only being a pretty looking french word, “allégresse” is a word that characterize a pure and beautiful joy you express freely to the outside world, preferably loudly… and of course, seldomly (else, you’re just a crazy guy).
I don’t know why but when I read this word, I think about “Légèreté” (thoughtlessness). Probably because a feeling of allégresse is something most expected when one is still a child, as you need thoughtlessness to be able to fully experience this joy of life (joie de vivre)

I think it’s actually a nice word for a nice track I uploaded on my soundcloud. A track that sound like the first months of being a father (yes, insert your favourite faces here, I’m being a little (emo) girl once again and it’s more than fitting the topic!)
